Elements of Social, Political and Economic Criticism in the Novel La Folie et la Mort by Ken Bugul
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the analysis of the roman La Folie et la Mort by the Senegalese francophone writer Ken Bugul. Apart from the analysis of the work, which includes a study of the form and the content, it’s focused on how the author expresses the criticism of the society and the economic and political situation in Africa, as well as over the world.
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou románu La Folie et la Mort od senegalské frankofonní spisovatelky Ken Bugul. Vedle samotné analýzy díla, která zahrnuje studium formy a obsahu knihy, se především zaměřuje na autorčino vyjádření kritiky společnosti a ekonomické a politické situace jak v Africe, tak globálně ve světě.
