Cuisine et dépendances : analysis, adaptations and expressions

Abstract:

The Master thesis « Cuisine et dépendances : analysis, adaptations and expressions » deals with the analysis of the aforementioned theatre play by the authors Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri, its movie adaptation and the numerous verbal expressions and phrases. The thesis has three parts – theoretical, lexical and practical. The aim of the first part is to analyze the play with regard to the plot, main characters, the French stereotypes, which are reflected in the story, and to compare the movie adaptation to the stage play. The lexical part focuses on the creation of dictionaires, which contain metaphorical as well as colloquial terms and fixed phrases that appear in the play. The practical part of this thesis presents five educational tools, which aim at putting into practice the findings of the theoretical and lexical sections, and to develop the four basic linguistic competences. These tools are intended to aid the teaching of French language to children, teen-agers as well as adults with the levels of A2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Diplomová práce « Cuisine et dépendances : analyses, adaptations et expressions » se zabývá rozborem stejnojmenné divadelní hry od autorů Agnès Jaoui a Jean-Pierre Bacriho, její filmovou adaptací a slovními výrazy a obraty, kterých je ve hře spousta. Práce je rozdělena na tři části – teoretickou, lexikální a praktickou. Cílem první části je analyzovat hru z hlediska příběhu, hlavních postav, francouzských stereotypů, které se ve hře reflektují a porovnat filmovou adaptaci s divadelním textem. Lexikální část je zaměřena na vytvoření slovníčků, které obsahují obrazná pojmenování, hovorové výrazy a ustálená slovní spojení vyskytující se ve hře. Praktická část představuje pět pedagogických listů, které slouží k využití poznatků z teoretické a lexikální části a k rozvoji čtyř základních jazykových kompetencí. Tyto listy jsou určeny k výuce francouzského jazyka dětí, mládeže i dospělých s úrovní A2 a B1 podle Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky.
