Screen-printed carbon electrodes modified with chitosan for preparation of enzyme biosensors

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá studiem chitosanem modifikovaných, uhlíkových, tištěných elektrod s možným uplatněním při konstrukci enzymových biosenzorů na bázi oxidáz. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na popis vlastností chitosanu, jeho výrobu, přípravu uhlíkových tištěných elektrod a možnosti jejich modifikace. Několik kapitol je věnováno biosenzorům, jejich základnímu rozdělení a principu. V experimentální části jsou studovány uhlíkové tištěné elektrody modifikované chitosanem a mediátorem elektronového přenosu a jejich vliv na elektrochemické vlastnosti těchto elektrod.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the study of chitosan modified, screen printed carbon electrodes with possible application in the preparation of enzyme biosensors based on oxidases. The first part of this work is aimed on the theoretical explanation of chitosan´s properties, its production, preparation of screen printed carbon electrodes and their modifications. Several chapters are devoted to biosensors, their basic classification and principle. In experimental part a study of screen printed carbon electrodes modified with chitosan and mediators of electron transfer is conducted and their influence on electrochemical properties of the electrodes is studied.
