Smart Home and Smart City Concepts in Population Protection

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsou řešeny moderní systémy zabezpečení městské nemovitostí, proti potenciálním naturogenním i antropogenním hrozbám. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních principů ochrany obyvatelstva, ochranných systémů standardně používaných i moderních SMART systémů. Tato první část se věnuje také zákonným normám, normám technickým a organizačním, které ovlivňují možnosti využití jednotlivých konceptů. Uvedené koncepty jsou zaměřeny především na ochranu obyvatel a měkkých cílů. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na návrh vhodného zabezpečení městského objektu, kterým je v tomto případě budova gymnázia v Brně. Tato část práce zkoumá hrozící rizika a po jejich vyhodnocení navrhuje bezpečnostní opatření, která jsou dále zkoumána. Navrhnutá opatření kombinují běžně používané bezpečnostní prostředky a postupy s moderními tzv SMART systémy. Primárním cílem je pak vytvoření návrhu vhodného zabezpečení objektu, při minimálním narušení činnosti lidí v něm se nacházejících. Sekundární cíl, který tato práce sleduje je proces auditu, který bude předložen vedení dané školy, pro možné navýšení bezpečnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with modern security systems of urban buildings against potential natural and anthropogenic threats. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the basic principles of population protection, standard protection systems and modern SMART systems. This first part is also devoted to legal standards, technical and organizational standards that influence the possibilities of using individual concepts. The mentioned concepts are mainly focused on the protection of the population and soft targets. The practical part of the work is focused on the design of suitable security for a city building, which in this case is building of high school in Brno city. This part of the work examines the imminent risks and, after their evaluation, proposes and security measures, which are further investigated. The proposed measures combine commonly used safety means and procedures with modern so-called SMART systems. The primary goal is to create a proposal for appropriate security of the object, with minimal disruption to the activities of the people inside it. The secondary goal pursued by this work is the audit process, which will be presented to the management of the given school, for a possible of increase the safety.
