Transfer pricing in accounting and taxes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou transferových cen, která je v současné době velice dis-kutovaná. Student si klade několik dílčích cílů, které by měly vést k pochopení tohoto tématu. Prvním dílčím cílem je vysvětlení základních pojmů, které jsou naprosto nezbytné pro další po-chopení a orientaci v transfer pricingu. Dílčím cílem číslo dvě je vymezení převodních cen z pohledu práva, a to jak českého tak mezinárodního. Následně budou popsány metody stanovo-vání transferových cen a také dokumentace, která je nedílnou součástí jak bakalářské práce, tak transferových cen. Dalším záměrem bude znázornění vybraných transakcí ve skupině účetnictví. Na závěr se bude student zaobírat současnými kauzami v oblasti převodních cen. V této části dojde k vysvětlení principů, jež jsou využívány společnostmi, pro daňovou optimalizaci. A také zde budou popsány řešení těchto případů.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of transfer pricing, which is currently very discussed. Student has several objectives, which should have lead to an understanding of this topic. The first sub-goal is to explain basic concepts that are absolutely necessary for further understanding and orientation in transfer pricing. A partial goal number two is the definition of transfer pricing from the perspective of Czech and international law. Afterwards the transfer pricing methods and documentation will be described which is an integral part to the thesis as well as to transfer pri-cing. Another goal will be a depiction of selected transactions in the group accounts. In the conc-lusion, the text considers current scandals in the transfer pricing area. In this section the prin-ciples that are used by companies for tax optimization will be explained. Solutions of these cases will also be described.
