Hypertension in pregnancy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou, s fyziologickými poznámkami týkajícími se definice krevního tlaku a metod jeho měření. V další části je popisována problematika diagnostiky hypertenze v těhotenství. Kromě patofyziologických podkladů jejího vzniku jsou vysvětleny i přidružené diagnózy, které společně s vysokým krevním tlakem nepříznivě působí na matku i vyvíjející se plod. Důraz je kladen na včasnou diagnostiku a její důležitou roli pro úspěšné ukončení těhotenství, snížení rizik a případných následků. Informace k vypracování praktické části byly získány pomocí dotazníků od žen na oddělení šestinedělí a na ambulanci porodního sálu, rozhovorem s rodičkami s vysokým krevním tlakem a také výpisem informací z porodních knih za rok 2013. Cílem práce bylo získat přehled o častosti výskytu hypertenze v populaci rodiček, o jejich informovanosti o prevenci a snížení rizika vzniku tohoto onemocnění. Z celkových výsledků je zřejmé, že hypertenze je ve FN Brno diagnostikována u 4% rodiček. Jejich informovanost o možné prevenci tohoto onemocnění není zcela ideální.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into theoretical part which includes physiological notes as definition of blood pressure and its measurement method. The next part describes the issue of hypertension diagnosis in pregnancy. Besides the pathophysiological bases of hypertension, there are also explained the diagnoses allied to hypertension as they can be, which together with high blood pressure adversely affects both the mother and developing fetus. Emphasis is placed on early diagnosis and its importance for the successful termination of pregnancy , reduce risks and potential consequences . Information for the elaboration of the practical part were obtained by questionnaires from women in the postpartum department as well as ambulance. Interview the women with high blood pressure and sumary information from the birth books for whole year 2013. The intention of this work was to obtain as many information and overview as possible of hypertension incidence in pregnant women and also their honest knowledge about prevention as well as how to lower the risks. The results summary show that in the FN Brno hospital are 4% of pregnant women diagnosed with hypertension. All that showed, their knowledge of the possible prevention of this disease is definitelly not sufficient.
