Education of social workers and workers in social services working with people with health disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vzděláváním sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách pracujících s osobami se zdravotním postižením. Cílem mé práce je identifikace individuálních a skupinových vzdělávacích potřeb sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách pracujících s osobami se zdravotním postižením optikou samotných pracovníků v provázanosti se specifickými požadavky pracovního místa a výsledků hodnocení pracovního výkonu a na základě zjištěných výsledků šetření navrhnout realizaci inovací a změn v současně aplikovaném systému vzdělávání v organizaci. Práce se zaměřuje na témata, kterými jsou, pracovní náplň pracovníků, práce s osobami se zdravotním postižením, vzdělávání pracovníků v sociální sféře, jeho barierám, motivaci, plánování a identifikaci potřeb pracovníků. Pro výzkumné šetření jsem si vybrala kvalitativní metodu sběru dat, konkrétně polostrukturované rozhovory. Cílem kvalitativního výzkumu je zjistit vzdělávací potřeby pracovníků, kteří pracují s osobami se zdravotním postižením. V závěru práce navrhuji inovace a změny v současně aplikovaném vzdělávání v organizaci, ke kterým jsem došla analýzou získaných dat z rozhovorů s pracovníky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the Education of Social Workers and Social Service Workers Working with Persons with Disabilities. The aim of my thesis is to identify individual and group educational needs of social workers and social service workers working with people with disabilities through the lens of the workers themselves in relation to the specific requirements of the job and the results of the evaluation of work performance and, based on the findings of the investigation, to propose the implementation of innovations and changes in the currently applied system of education in the organization. The thesis focuses on the following topics, which are, worker job description, working with people with disabilities, social worker education, its barriers, motivation, planning and identification of worker needs. For the research investigation, I chose a qualitative method of data collection, namely semi-structured interviews. The aim of the qualitative research is to identify the training needs of workers who work with people with disabilities. In the conclusion of the thesis, I propose innovations and changes in the currently applied training in the organization, which I arrived at by analyzing the data collected from the interviews with the workers.
