The universal infrared receiver with discrete output

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá softwarovým a hardwarovým návrhem a realizací zařízení, které bude sloužit jako univerzální infračervený přijímač. Pomocí tohoto zařízení bude možné pracovat s nejširší množinou běžně používaných dálkových ovladačů. V teoretické části se práce zabývá rozborem infračerveného signálu a jeho standarty a normy. V praktické části se pak zaměřuje na návrh a realizaci zařízení, popis použitého mikropočítače a vytvořením programu pro mikropočítač. Na závěr se práce zabývá nalezením optimálního nastavení zařízení pro co největší množinu dálkových ovládání.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is hardware and software design and implementation of a device, which will be able to function as a universal infrared receiver. Thanks to this device, it will be possible to operate with the widest set of commonly used controllers. The theoretical part of my thesis will be an analysis of infrared signal with its standards and norms. The practical part is focused on the design and production of the receiver itself, along with a description of the used microcomputer and its operational program. In the conclusion I will try to find the optimal setup for the widest possible set of remotes.
