Availability of social care services in the context of ageing in SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí

Abstract:

Z demografických projekcí obyvatelstva vyplývá, že počet seniorů bude nadále růst. Existuje tak riziko, že současné kapacity v zařízeních sociálních služeb nebudou pro budoucí seniory dostatečné. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vyhodnocení dostupnosti služeb sociální péče v SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí v souvislosti s očekávanými demografickými trendy. Současná demografická situace je porovnána s územím Pardubického kraje a celé České republiky v období let 2010–2021. Na základě projekce budoucího vývoje počtu obyvatelstva SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí je zpracován předpokládaný vývoj počtu příjemců příspěvku na péči a je kvantifikována potřebná kapacita služeb sociální péče do roku 2050. Z výsledků lze usuzovat, že v SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí se bude zvyšovat počet žadatelů, kteří budou poptávat zařízení poskytující služby sociální péče (zejména osoby 80+) a kteří budou žádat o příspěvek na péči.

Abstract:

Demographic population projections show that the number of seniors will continue to grow. Thus, there is a risk that the current capacity in social service facilities will not be sufficient for future seniors. The thesis focuses on the evaluation of the availability of social care services in the SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí in the context of expected demographic trends. The current demographic situation is compared with the territory of the Pardubice Region and the entire Czech Republic in the period 2010–2021. Based on the projection of the future population development of the SO ORP Ústí nad Orlicí, the expected development of the number of recipients of care allowance is elaborated and the required capacity of social care services by 2050 is quantified. From the results it can be concluded that in the Ústí nad Orlicí SO ORP there will be an increase in the number of applicants who will require social care services (especially persons 80+) and who will apply for care allowance.
