Separation of parents and its impact on the child's psyche

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematiku rozchodu rodičů a následnými důsledky na psychiku dětí. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy jako je rodina, rozvod, typy rodinného soužití nebo porozvodová péče. Podstatná část je věnovaná důsledkům a reakcím dětí na tuto událost. Praktická část popisuje výzkum prováděný formou rozhovorů s dětmi, které prožily rozchod rodičů. Průzkum by měl vést ke zjištění, zda tato událost způsobila změnu školního prospěchu dětí, jakým způsobem se s touto událostí vyrovnávaly a jak ovlivnila jejich budoucí život.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of parents' separation and the subsequent consequences on children's psyche. The work consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, basic terms such as family, divorce, types of family coexistence or post-divorce care are described. A substantial part is devoted to the consequences and children's reactions to this event. The practical part describes research conducted in the form of interviews with children who have experienced the separation of their parents. The survey should lead to finding out whether this event caused a change in the school performance of the children, how they coped with this event and how it affected their future life.
