Cooperation of parents and grandparents in the upbringing

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapování role prarodiče v rámci mezigeneračního šetření. Teoretická část obsahuje literární rešerši poznatků. Nahlíží do historie rodinné výchovy. Vysvětluje význam prarodičovské role a proměny výchovné role prarodičů od pravěku až po současnost. Zabývá se generačními vztahy a konflikty, které jsou založeny na předsudcích a stanoviscích, které zaujímají generace k sobě navzájem. Nejsou zde opomíjeny ani emoce a jejich vliv na vícegenerační soužití. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo pět rodin dětí, které navštěvují Mateřskou školu v Rudě na Moravou. Data nezbytná pro splnění cílů práce jsem získala prostřednictvím kombinace individuálního strukturovaného rozhovoru a polystrukturovaného rozhovoru s otevřenými otázkami. Pomocí kvalitativního průzkumu bakalářská práce nalézá zjištění, jak jednotliví členové rodin chápou a přijímají roli prarodičů. Odpovídá na otázky, kolik času prarodiče tráví s vnoučaty a zda v jednotlivých rodinách vznikají konflikty či neporozumění způsobené jinými názory na výchovu, jaké emoce prožívají. Na základě těchto zjištění se odvíjí odpověď na hlavní otázku, jaké jsou rozdíly v chápání role prarodiče mezi generacemi a která hlediska role prarodiče jsou chápána všemi generacemi stejně.

Abstract:

The aim of the dissertation is mapping the role of grandparents in upbringing within the research through generations. The theoretical part contains sum up the issues in reference books about family. It follows up the history of upbringing. This part explains the importance of grandparents and the change of their upbringing role from origins up to present. Also it is concerned with family relationships and conflicts, which are based on prejudice and statements, that occupy one generation to each other. The emotions and it is influence to generation gap are not ignored as well. Population research was made by five families, whose children attend nursery school in Ruda nad Moravou. We get the essential dates to fulfil the aims of dissertation through combination of individual structured interview and interview with open questions. Thanks to qualitative research it could find, how individual family members understand and accept the role of grandparents. It answers the questions e.g. how much time grandparents spend with their grandchildren, if in partial families arise conflicts or misunderstanding caused of different opinion of upbringing or what emotions are they going through. On the basis of these findings is developing the answer on the main question.
