Task of Urban Search and Reascue Teams dealing with Consequences of Disasters

Anotácia:

Tato práce se věnuje roli USAR odřadů a jejich zapojení do vypořádání se s následky katastrof. V teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na popis katastrof, historii ucelení USAR odřadů, na jejich složení a jejich právní podklady, včetně vymezení odřadů v rámci Organizace spojených národů. Praktická část práce je věnována rozhovorům s odborníky, díky kterým se podařilo nahlédnout do zásahu v Libanonském Bejrútu z pozice kynologa a vedoucího zásahu. Dále bylo v teoretické části pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjištěno na vzorku respondentů jejich znalost a povědomí o těchto odřadech.

Abstract:

This balcheor thesis deals with USAR teams and their involvement in dealing with the consequences of the disasters. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the description of disasters, the history of the USAR teams, their structure and their legal basis, including the definition of collaboration within the United Nations. The practical part of the work is dedicatory to interviews with experts, thanks to which it was possible to look into the mission in Beirut, Lebanon from the position of cynologist and the Search and Reascue manager. The knowledge and awarness of a sample of respondents about USAR teams was analyzed with a questionnaire survey.
