Patient care in a prone position

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Péče o pacienta v pronační poloze je prací teoreticko-praktickou. Teoretická část práce popisuje fyziologické účinky pronační polohy, v jakých případech je indikována a kontraindikována, délku doby pronace, možné komplikace a ošetřovatelskou péči o pacienta v pronační poloze. V praktické části jsou zpracovány tři plány péče o pacienty s akutním syndromem dechové tísně, kteří byli ukládáni do pronační polohy. Plány péče byly vytvořeny pomocí ošetřovatelského modelu dle Marjory Gordonové a ošetřovatelských diagnóz dle NANDA taxonomie II. Na základě plánů péče byla vytvořena mapa péče, která má být návodem pro sestry, jak pečovat o pacienty v pronační poloze.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis named Patient care in a prone position is a thesis theoretical-practical. The theoretical part describes physiological effects of prone position, its indication and contraindication, the prone position duration, possible complications and nursing care of a patient in the prone position. The practical part elaborates three plans of care for patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome, that were in the prone position. Care plans were processed according to Marjory Gordon model and NANDA taxonomy II nursing diagnoses. Based on these plans a care map was prepared in order to guide nurses how to take care of patients in the prone position.
