Abstract:

Práce zkoumá vzájemný vliv mezi konceptem kulturní všežravosti a současnou módou. Práce se nejprve zabývá vysvětlením a zmapováním hlavních pojmů, tedy módy a kulturní všežravosti. Pomocí akademických zdrojů pak zkoumá projevy vztahu. Později s využitím neakademických zdrojů a empirických dat je tato teoretická rovina dovedena k viditelnému poznání. Hlavním cílem studie je zjistit, zda skutečně existuje souvislost mezi kulturní všežravostí a současnou módou, a dále ukázat, jak se tato souvislost projevuje. Za tímto účelem je analýza provedena ve formě systematické přehledové studie.

Abstract:

The thesis explores the mutual influence between the concept of cultural omnivorousness and contemporary fashion. The thesis first engages explaining and mapping the main concepts, i.e. fashion and cultural omnivorousness. Using academic sources, it then examines the manifestation of the relationship. Later, using non-academic sources and empirical data, this theoretical level is brought to visible knowledge. The main goal of the study is to ascertain whether there really is a con-nection between cultural omnivorousness and contemporary fashion and to further show how this connection manifests itself. To do so, the analysis is conducted in the form of a systematic review study.
