Abstract:

Diplomová práce Komparace příhraničních regionů Děčín a Jindřichův Hradec se zabývá problematikou dvou příhraničních okresů a postojem obyvatel těchto okresů k blízkosti státní hranice. V rámci teoretické a následně praktické části práce je zkoumán postoj obyvatel k dojížďce za hranice. V rámci řešených dvou okresů je řešena dojížďka za hranice za prací i za nákupy. Dále je řešena dopravní infrastruktura, která okresy se zahraničními sousedy propojuje. Pro práci jsou použita primární data nasbíraná prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, přičemž respondenty jsou obyvatelé obou okresů s trvalým pobytem. Ti jsou v první řadě tázáni na otázku, jak často do země zahraničního souseda dojíždí, dále udávají svou zkušenost s prací v sousedním státě, nákupy a hodnotí zmiňovanou dopravní infrastrukturu. Odpovědi respondentů z obou okresů jsou mezi sebou komparovány a dochází se k závěrům, v čem se mezi sebou respondenti obou okresů v otázce využívání blízkého zahraničí shodují a v čem se naopak liší, k čemuž je použito statistické metody kontingence. Jedním z výsledků práce je tak například zjištění, že obyvatelé okresu Děčín nakupují v Německu více než obyvatelé okresu Jindřichův Hradec v Rakousku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Comparison of the border regions of Děčín and Jindřichův Hradec deals with the issue of two border districts and the attitude of the inhabitants of these districts towards the proximity of the state border. Within the framework of the theoretical and subsequently practical part of the work, the attitude of the inhabitants towards commuting accross the border is investigated. Commuting accross borders for work and shopping is being addressed within the two districts under consideration. The transport infrastructure that connects the districts with foreign neighbors is also addressed. The work uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire survey, while the respondents are permanent residents of both districts. Firt of all, they are asked the question of how often they travel to the country of a foreign neighbor, share their experience with working in the neighboring country, shopping and evaluate the mentioned transport infrastructure. The answers of the respondents from both districts are compared with each other and conclusions are drawn as to what the respondents of two districts agree with and what they differ on regarding the use of the near abroad for which statstical contingency methods are used. One of the results of the work is, for example, the finding that residents of the Děčín district shop more in Germany than residents of the Jindřichův Hradec district in Austria.
