Placenta and it's treatment after delivery

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována významu placenty a jejímu zpracování po porodu. Teoretická část shrnuje vývoj placenty, její funkce, nepravidelnosti placenty a III. dobu porodní. Také se zabývá využitím placenty po porodu, tradicemi a uctíváním placenty v různých kulturách. Praktická část se snaží odpovědět na otázku, zda je užívání zpracované placenty po porodu pro ženy opravdu užitečné nebo zda jde pouze o módní trend posledních let. Z provedeného výzkumu vyplynulo, že užívání zpracované placenty má pozitivní vliv na únavu a částečně též na psychiku rodiček, na začátek, průběh a délku laktace však vliv nemá.

Abstract:

Our bachelor thesis is dedicated to the importance of placentae and its after delivery processing. The theoretical part summarises the placentae progress, its functions, placentae irregularities and the third stage of childbirth. It also deals with the placentae usage, traditions and placentae cult in different cultures. The practical part tries to answer whether the usage of processed placentae after the delivery is really useful for women, or whether it is only a modern trend of the present days. The perfomed research resulted in conclusion that the usage of the processed placentae has a positive influence on the fatigue and partially also on the mother psyche. On the other hand it probably has no influence on the beginning, the process and the length of lactation.
