Psychology of personality in art

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá psychologií osobnosti umělce, která zkoumá umělcovo osobností rysy a snaží se objevit, co nutí umělce tvořit a jaké jeho rysy se odchylují od průměrných hodnot. V teoretické části jsou popsány obecné poznatky osobnosti umělce, které jsou hlavním tématem této práce a empirická část se snažíme s nimi dále pracovat. V praktické části byl, pod dohledem odborníků z katedry psychologie FPE ZČU, použit standardizovaný Eysenckův osobnostní test, jenž v kombinaci s metodou rozhovoru nám poskytl kvalitní sběr dat, které byly podle teoretických východisek v závěru práce popsány a interpretovány.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the psychology of the artist's personality which explores the artist's features and tries to discover what forces the artist to create and which of his features deviate from the average values. The theoretical part describes the general knowledge of the artist's personality, which is the main theme of this work, and I'm tying to work with it in the empirical part. A standardized Eysenck personality test was used in the practical part, under the supervision of experts from the Department of Psychology of FPE ZČU, which, in combination with the interview method, provided us with a high quality data collection that was described and interpreted according to the theoretical background.
