Abstract:

Tato bakalářské práce se zabývá propojením matematiky a pokeru. V první části práce uvádím základní pojmy z kombinatoriky a pravděpodobnosti, které dále využívám při analýze pokerové hry. V druhé části se věnuji základními pravidly pokeru, speciálně pak jeho nejrozšířenější varianty Texas Hold'em. Ve třetí části analyzuji některé pokerové situace pomocí předem definovaných matematických konceptů. Poslední část práce je věnována typologii hráčů a pokerovým stylům, se kterými se můžeme při hře setkat. Ve slovníku pak můžeme nalézt pokerové výrazy, se kterými se při hře budeme často potkávat a v textu jsme jim dostatečně neporozuměli.

Abstract:

Purpose of this bachelor thesis is interconnecting maths and poker. First part of the thesis is focused on basic concepts of combinatorics and probability. Combinatorics and probability are used for analysing the poker game. Second part is concentrated on basic rules of poker, especially the most common variant Texas Hold'em. Analysing some of possible situations, which can occur in poker game, is described in the third part. In the last part I attend to typology of the players and their corresponding poker styles, which we may encounter during the game. For those who are not familiar with poker expressions, which are used regularly in this thesis, there is a vocabulary.
