Abstract:

Černá skříňka obsahuje cyklus maleb s motivem jednorožce. Tento námět se drží jak mytologické roviny, tak zde dochází k propojení s vlastní příběhovou linií, kterou je práce uvedena. V  teoretické části se zabývám fenoménem unicornu, jež je nastíněn světlem křesťanské ikonografie. Vycházím z ikonografických schémat jako je ?Lov jednorožce? nebo ?Jednorožec a panna?. Nabízím také krajní úniky v podobě psychických onemocněních nebo erotiky a střety jednorožce s internetovou kulturou. V malbě se snažím o vlastní způsob uchopení tohoto námětu a hlavně o přesahy v technice i výrazu.

Abstract:

?Black box? contains a series of paintings with the motif of unicorn. This motif became main theme in theoretical work too. Both, in the text and in my artworks, you can find mythological plane of the unicorn there. In a theoretical part I studyed phenomenon unicorn from a different perspective. Partly, it was outlined by the light of Christian iconography and St Maria cult. I mean expecially iconographic schemes such as ?Hunting the Unicorn? or ?The Unicorn and the Virgin?. I also offered extreme losses in the form of psychological diseases and eroticism, or clashes of unicorn with internet culture. In painting I tried to find own attitude of this subject and I was looking for spillovers in technology or expression too.
