Monitoring soil compaction on the farm

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Monitoring utužení půdy v zemědělském podniku“ se zabývá problematikou utužení půd. Literární rešerše obsahuje popis degradací půdy v České republice. Poté se důkladně zaměřuje na příčiny, metody měření a důsledky utužení půdy. Na konci první části jsou přiblížena opatření k prevenci, omezení a odstranění utužení půd. V druhé části práce, materiál a metodika, je popsán samotný rodinný podnik, na jehož polních pozemcích se měření uskutečnilo. Následně je zmapována lokalita výzkumu z hlediska klimatických a půdních podmínek. Jako metoda měření byla zvolena penetrometrie. Měřilo se na všech polích podniku v bodech 50 m od sebe vzdálených, v 5 hloubkách (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 cm). Naměřená data byla zpracována v programu ArcGIS Pro. Mapy utužení půdy byly zhotoveny pomocí geostatické interpolační metody empirical Bayesian kriging. Z výsledků vyčteme, že utužení půdy v hloubkách 10 a 20 cm je v únosných mezích a pomocí zpracování půdy se eliminuje. Negativním důsledkem orby je utužené podorničí, což je patrné z map utužení půdy v hloubkách 30, 40 a 50 cm. Na závěr jsou navržena řešení ke snížení utužení pro daný zemědělský podnik.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on the topic "Monitoring soil compaction in an agricultural company" deals with the issue of soil compaction. The literature research includes a description of soil degradation in the Czech Republic. It then focused on the causes, measurement methods and consequences of soil compaction. At the end of the first part, measures to prevent, limit and eliminate soil compaction are presented. In the second part of the work, material and methodology, the family business itself is described, on whose fields the measurements were taken. Then, the research location is mapped in terms of climatic and soil conditions. Penetrometry was chosen as the measurement method. It was measured on all fields of the farm at points 50 m apart, at 5 depths (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 cm). The measured data were processed in the ArcGIS Pro program. Soil compaction maps were made using geostatic interpolation methods, empirical Bayesian kriging. From this we can read that the compaction of the soil at depths of 10 and 20 cm is within the tolerable limits, because it is reduced by tillage. A negative consequence of plowing is the compacted subsoil, which is evident from the soil compaction map at depths of 30, 40 and 50 cm. At the end, solutions are proposed to reduce the use for the agricultural company.
