Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá birminghamským přízvukem (tzv. Brummie). V teoretické části jsou stručně představeny jeho základní aspekty a specifika, následně se pozornost soustředí na to, jakým způsobem je tento přízvuk prezentován v rámci televizního sériálu Peaky Blinders. Abstract:
This thesis is about the Birmingham accent (also known as Brummie) in the TV series Peaky Blinders. In the theory part, the linguistic features of the accent are introduced. Following is the presentation of the accent itself through the actors' performances in the TV series along with some further studies into the inner workings of the Brummie accent.
