Comparism of the Czech and German books of mathematics for the secondary grammar school

Abstract:

V této práci zkoumáme české a německé učebnice matematiky pro gymnázia. Porovnáme přitom, jak jsou v nich vyložena některá témata, jaké jsou obsahové a formální rozdíly, přičemž se zaměříme na historické poznámky a netradiční úlohy. Ukážeme, co by z uvedené látky nemělo chybět ani přímo při výuce v hodině a co je naopak nadbytečné. Tímto prostřednictvím se dotkneme také tématu aktuálnosti českých učebnic, které byly poprvé vydány již zhruba před dvaceti lety. Představíme rozdíly v používání učebnic v obou kulturních prostředích.

Abstract:

In this thesis we would strive to make a survey on the Czech and German textbooks for the secondary grammar schools. We compare the way, the textbooks present particular topic, and show the formal and contextual differences. The aim would be on the historical notes and on the not so common excercise. By some topics we show, what is important to say direct in the class from the position of teacher and what may rest redundant. We would like to stress also the current teaching praxis usability of the Czech textbooks, that were first published already 20 years ago. We show the differences in using the textbooks in both cultures also.
