Analysis of the Impact of Legislative Changes on the Collection of Road Tax in the Conditions of the Czech Republic with Regard to the Selected Company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem inkasa silniční daně v podmínkách České republiky od roku 1993 až po současnost. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce je popsán daňový systém České republiky, je zde definována daň a podrobně popsány její konstrukční prvky. Dále je v této části vymezena silniční daň v podmínkách České republiky a je zde také pojednáno o emisních normách EURO. Praktickou část lze rozdělit na 2 části. První část je věnována analýze vývoje legislativních změn a jejich dopad na výši inkasa silniční daně v jednotlivých letech. Jsou zde provedeny i dílčí statistické výpočty jako jsou výtěžnost silniční daně, tempo růstu, podíl silniční daně na celkovém inkasu. Druhá část je věnována analýze daňové povinnosti konkrétní společnosti. Na základě výsledků této analýzy, je navrhnuto několik opatření na optimalizaci silniční daně ve společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of road tax collection in the conditions of the Czech Republic from 1993 to the present. The thesis is divided into two theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the tax system of the Czech Republic, defines the tax and describes its design elements in detail. Furthermore, this section defines the road tax in the conditions of the Czech Republic and also discusses the EURO emission standards. The practical part can be divided into 2 parts. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the development of legislative changes and their impact on the amount of collection of road tax in individual years. Partial statistical calculations are also made here, such as road tax yield, growth rate, share of road tax in total collection. The second part is devoted to the analysis of tax liability on specific companies. Based on the results of this analysis, several measures are proposed to optimize road tax in the company.
