Negative psychological aspects when using social networks

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na aktuální problém dnešní digitální doby. Tedy na vznik negativních psychologických aspektů na sociálních sítí. Hlavním cílem práce bude zjistit jaké negativní psychologické aspekty se vytváří při používání sociálních sítí u vybraných respondentů. Vedlejším cílem je následně zjistit při jakých konkrétních sítích se s nimi potýkají. V teoretické části se nachází stručné uvedení hlavních negativních aspektů, které jsou hlavní součástí daného tématu. V praktické části je obsažen jak kvantitativní, tak i kvalitativní šetření. Kvantitativní šetření je na základě dotazníkového šetření, zaměřující se na zjištění negativních aspektů u vybraných respondentů. Kvalitativní šetření je následně ve formě strukturovaného rozhovoru, který je pro specifickou skupinu respondentů, kteří danými aspekty trpí. Hlavní zjištění práce je, že respondenti jsou nejvíce aktivní na sociálních sítích Instagram a Facebook, kde se následně dané negativní aspekty vyvíjejí

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on a current problem of today's digital age. That is, the emergence of negative psychological aspects on social networking sites. The main aim of the thesis will be to find out what negative psychological aspects are created when using social networking sites by the selected respondents. Subsequently, a secondary aim is to find out in which specific networking activities they face them. In the theoretical part there is a brief introduction of the main negative aspects that are the main part of the topic. The practical part includes both quantitative and qualitative investigations. The quantitative investigation is based on a questionnaire survey, focusing on the identification of negative aspects in selected respondents. The qualitative investigation is then in the form of a structured interview, which is for a specific group of respondents who suffer from the aspects in question. The main finding of the thesis is that the respondents are most active on the social networking sites Instagram and Facebook, where the negative aspects in question subsequently develop.
