Motivational concepts and their implementation in the hotel Diplomat

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of motivation within the hotel Diplomat. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to specify used motivational instruments, controlling acts, controlling practices and other factors are which have positive or negative effects on managed co-workers. In the theoretical part of this bachelor’s thesis are stated definitions of the word motivation,Then follows details of processed motivational concepts, several motivation theories, but also motivation program and motivational instruments. At the end is described demotivation. In the analytical part is characterized the hotel Diplomat, where was implemented the research. This research was implemented by semi structured interviews. At the end of this chapter the research questions are evaluated. The proposal part contains recommended solutions and proposals which would help the managers with improving the motivation of their staff in the hotel Diplomat.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou motivácie v hoteli Diplomat. Cieľom bakalárskej práce bolo stanoviť používané motivačné nástroje, riadiace akty, riadiace praktiky a ďalšie faktory, ktoré majú pozitívne alebo nežiadúce motivačné dôsledky na riadených spolupracovníkov. V teoretickej časti bakalárskej práce sú uvedené definície motivácie, ďalej sú spracované motivačné koncepcie, niektoré motivačné teórie, ale aj motivačný program a motivačné nástroje. V závere je opísaná nežiadúca motivácia. V analytickej časti je charakterizovaný hotel Diplomat, v ktorom bol realizovaný výskum. Tento výskum bol realizovaný pomocou pološtruktúrovaného rozhovoru. V závere tejto kapitoly sú vyhodnotené výskumné otázky. V návrhovej časti sú uvedené riešenia a návrhy ako zlepšiť motiváciu u pracovníkov v hoteli Diplomat.
