Coexistence of Roma Culture with the Majority Population in Czech Republic from the Vantage Point of Social Exclusion
Abstract:
Práce představuje současný diskurs o pojmech sociální exkluze, etnika a multikulturalismu. Dále nabízí pohled na situaci sociálně marginalizovaných Romů v České republice prostřednictvím konceptu sociální exkluze a poukazuje na jeho možnosti při koncipování romské integrační politiky.
Abstract:
The writing introduces the recent discussions concerning the concepts of social exclusion, ethnicity and multiculturalism. It further presents the view of the situation of the socially marginalised Roma in Czech republic through the prism of social exclusion and points out the possibilities of this concept within the state policy of Roma integration.
