Abstract:
Diploma thesis deals with media representation of September 11th, 1973. We use the discourse analysis of J.P. Gee to create the media representation and to find out how the media represented the dictatorship and the representatives of the regime in the biggest Chilean press El Mercurio. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá mediálnou reprezentáciou dňa 11. septembra 1973. Pomocou metódy diskurzívnej analýzy J. P. Geeho práca odhaľuje spôsoby vytvárania mediálnej reprezentácie diktatúry, ako jej hlavných aktérov, najmä Augusta Pinocheta. Práca sa skladá zo štyroch častí.
