Insignias of the some Czech Universities
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá akademickými odznaky moci hodnostářů tzv. insigniemi. Věnuje se počátkům univerzit a jejich symbolům především žezlům, řetězům s medailemi a talárům. Práce je zaměřená na čtyři univerzity: Univerzitu Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně, Univerzitu Pardubice, Univerzitu Karlovu a Univerzitu Palackého v Olomouci. Zaměřuje se i na tvůrce a literaturu spojenou s tématem.
Abstract:
The concern of this diploma thesis are insignias, the official emblems distinguishing a rank of office of members of the academic staff. It addresses the beginnings of universities their histories and their acquisition of their own insignia, especially scepters, chains, medals and gowns.
