The diploma thesis About the Songs of Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel deals with vocal and piano songs of Fanny Hensel, sister of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. It outlines the social, cultural and musical situation in Berlin in the second half of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century.
