Family Upbringing of School Aged Children in Spain from Czech Au-pairs’ Point of View

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rodinnou výchovou dětí školního věku ve Španělsku z pohledu českých au-pair. Východiskem pro cíl této práce byl vlastní tříměsíční pobyt na Kanárských ostrovech ve španělské rodině se dvěma dětmi. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou definovány jednotlivé prvky rodiny i výchovy a pozornost je věnována také rodinné výchově jako celku. V závěru teoretické části jsou popsány role au-pair jako výchovného člena rodiny a program au-pair ve Španělsku. Praktická část obsahuje řízené rozhovory, které byly provedeny s českými dívkami, jež se zúčastnily programu au-pair ve Španělsku. Následuje samotná analýza zjištěných dat a výsledky plynoucí z uvedeného výzkumu. Přílohou této bakalářské práce je osnova a úryvek přepsaného rozhovoru.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with family upbringing of school aged children in Spain from Czech au-pairs’ point of view. The basis of this thesis was my own three-month stay in Canary Islands in a Spanish family with two children. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines single elements of the family and upbringing and it focuses also on the family upbringing as a whole. The end of the theoretical part describes roles of an au-pair as an educational member of the family and au-pair programme in Spain. The practical part includes pen and paper interviews which were accomplished with Czech girls who participated in the au-pair programme in Spain. Interviews are followed by the analysis of collected data and results from the research. A structure of the interview and its extract are enclosed.
