Cílem bakalářské práce je vymezení poškozeného a oběti z hlediska trestního procesu a kriminologie, zvláště pak z hlediska nové právní úpravy Zákona č. 45/2013 Sb., o obětech trestných činů. V první řadě práce seznamuje čtenáře se základními zásadami, právy obětí a poškozených, se zaměřením na jejich odlišnosti.
