Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the use of co-referential chains in the discourse of newspaper reports. Its theoretical part describes the style of newspaper reporting, cohesion, both lexical and grammatical, and the concept of co-referential chains. The main aim of the analysis is to identify co-referential chains in discourse of newspaper reports from the viewpoint of type of reference, type of ties and means of co-referential chains.

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na užití kohezních koreferenčních řetězců v diskursu seriózních novinových zpráv. Teoretická část popisuje funkční styl novinových článků, kohezi, jak gramatickou, tak lexikální, a koncept koreferenčních řetězců. Hlavním cílem analytické části je identifikovat koreferenční řetězce v diskursu novinových zpráv z hlediska typu reference, pohledu vazeb mezi jednotlivými členy v řetězcích a v neposlední řadě z hlediska typu prostředků tvořících koreferenční řetězce.
