Security Threat in a Banking Industry

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je charakteristika a popis bezpečnostních hrozeb v bankovnictví vyskytujících se v České republice a Evropské unii, zde je kladen velký důraz na elektronické útoky. Novodobé technologie poskytují klientům stále efektivnější a rychlejší výměny dat, zároveň však poskytují veliké výhody těm, kteří je chtějí zneužít pro svůj prospěch. Díky anonymitě kyberprostoru se stále více kriminálních aktivit přesouvá sem do tohoto místa. Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je rozbor a popis různých možných kybernetických útoků, dále pak možnosti zabezpečení finančních subjektů proti napadení.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is the characterization and description of security threats occurring in the banking sector in the Czech Republic and the European Union, there is a great emphasis on electronic attacks . Modern technologies provide clients with increasingly effective and faster data exchange, but also provide great benefits to those who want to exploit for their own benefit . Due to the anonymity of cyberspace is increasingly shifting criminal activities here in this place. The main topic of this thesis is to analyze and describe the different possible cyber attacks , as well as the possibility of securing financial entities against attack .
