The relationship of obesity and osteoporosis
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou obezity a osteoporózy. Popisuje prevalenci, etiopatogenezi, terapii a prevenci týkající se obou onemocnění. Dále se zaměřuje na zdravotní komplikace obezity a rizikové faktory osteoporózy. Pozornost je věnována vlivu zvýšené tělesné hmotnosti na kostní tkáň. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky zpracovaných dat od 154 postmenopauzálních žen.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with problems of obesity and osteoporosis. Thesis describes prevalence, etiopatogenesis, treatement and prevention of both diseases. It also focuses on health complications caused by obesity and risk factors of osteoporosis. The attention is paid to the influence of increased weight on a bone mass.
