Analysis of selected investment opportunity

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza investiční příležitosti, která spočívá v nákupu 100% podílu na základním kapitálu zemědělské společnosti MORAVAN, a.s. V první části této práce bylo pojednáno o makroekonomických faktorech v České republice. Druhá část této práce se soustředila na specifika zemědělského odvětví, ve kterém působí analyzovaná společnost. Ve stěžejní části práce byla popsána samotná analýza společnosti.V rámci analýzy investiční příležitosti byla provedena strategická analýza a finanční analýza společnosti. Dále byly skrze generátory hodnoty podrobně prozkoumány základní podnikové veličiny, jež tvoří hodnotu Společnosti. Práce obsahuje také finanční plán, který poskytuje komplexní pohled na finanční situaci Společnosti od roku 2018 do 2022.S ohledem na informace vyplývající z výše zmíněných kapitol bylo pro účely analýzy investiční příležitosti vypracováno ocenění Společnosti. Ocenění bylo provedeno pomocí dvou metod, a to diskontovaných peněžních toků a odvětvových násobků.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the investment opportunity in buying a 100% sta-ke in the basic capital of the agricultural company MORAVAN, a.s. In the first part of this thesis we discussed the macroeconomic factors in the Czech Republic. The second part of this thesis is focused on the specifics of the agricultural sector in which the analyzed com-pany operates. The core part of the thesis describes the analysis of the company.As part of the analysis of the investment opportunity, strategic analysis and finan-cial analysis of the company were carried out. In addition, through the generators of the values, the basic values of the Company, which constitute the value of the Company, are thoroughly researched. The work also contains a financial plan that provides a comprehen-sive view of the financial situation of the Company from 2018 to 2022.Based on the information resulting from the chapters mentioned above, the Com-pany's valuation was prepared for the purpose of analyzing the investment opportunity. The valuation was made using two methods, namely discounted cash flows and industry multiples.
