Petrographic-mineralogical characteristics of pegmatite with tourmaline in skarn from the quarry by Mirošov near the Nové Město n.M.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with petrography and mineralogy of the granitic pegmatite which intruded the skarn in the quarry by Mirošov near Nové Město na Moravě. The research part of thesis sumarizes characteristics of both chemically different rocks, evidences of their mutual interaction, the brief summary and comparison with similar occurences of pegmatites in skarns in the Czech Republic are also included. Practical part deals with macroscopic description and mineralogical characterization of the minerals of the pegmatite. The attention is focused on the feldspars, which were chemically determined. As the results show, the pegmatitic melt was enriched in Ca, which is reflected in an increased amount of the An component in plagioclases. The amount of An component is comparable to the leucosome material from surrounding migmatized amphibolites, which together with field observations (intrusion of leucosome from migmatite to the skarn) points to the anatectic origin of the pegmatite.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na petrografii a mineralogii granitického pegmatitu, který proniká skarnem v lomu na lokalitě Mirošov u Nového Města na Moravě. V rešeršní části jsou shrnuty charakteristiky těchto chemicky odlišných horninových typů, také doklady jejich vzájemné interakce a srovnání s výskyty podobných pegmatitů ve skarnech v rámci České republiky. Praktická část se zabývá makroskopickým popisem a mikroskopickou charakteristikou minerálů pegmatitu. Pozornost je zaměřena zejména na živce, u kterých bylo stanoveno jejich chemické složení. Z výsledků je zřejmé, že tavenina byla obohacena o Ca, což se projevilo zvýšením bazicity plagioklasů (odpovídají andezínu). Srovnatelnou bazicitu má i leukosomový materiál z okolních migmatitizovaných amfibolitů, což naznačuje spolu s terénními pozorováními (průnik leukosomu z migmatitu do skarnu) na anatektický původ pegmatitu.
