Abstract:
The present thesis analyzes four different works of dystopian fiction – A Scanner Darkly (1977) and "Minority Report" (1956), written by Philip K. Dick, and their two film adaptations, A Scanner Darkly (2006), directed by Richard Linklater, and Minority Report (2002), directed by Steven Spielberg.
