The development of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) on the permanent research area of DoS „Modřín“ (stands 131F17/8b and 130A8a) with different thinning regimes in the area of FTE „Masarykův les“ Křtiny

Abstract:

Buk lesní se řadí mezi nejvýznamnější hospodářské dřeviny naší krajiny. Během let dochází ke zvýšení zastoupení buku v porostech na území České republiky, zejména pro jeho vlastnosti. V této bakalářské práci se porovnává vývoj buku lesního na výzkumných plochách Školního lesního podniku Masarykův les Křtiny s různými výchovnými režimy. Mezi tyto výchovné metody patří výchova bez zásahu, úrovňová a podúrovňová probírka. Výsledky publikované v této práci se opírají o zjištěné dendrometrické hodnoty, které byly měřeny od roku 1961 v intervalu 5 let až do roku 2020. Buk nejlépe reaguje na probírku podúrovňovou, kdy dosahuje nejlepších hodnocených parametrů.

Abstract:

European beech ranks among the most important economic trees of our landscape. Over the years, its representation in stands in the territory of the Czech Republic is rapidly increasing, mainly due to its properties. In this bachelor's thesis, the development of european beech is compared with different thinning regimes on permanent research areas at ŠLP Křtiny. These regimes include level, sub-level thinning and a non-interventional variant of regimes. The results published in this work are based on the established dendrometric values, which were measured from 1961 in an interval of 5 years until 2020. Beech responds best to sub-level thinning, when the parameters evaluated are the best.
