Práce pojednává o ucelené historii českého pivovarnictví i jednotlivých pivovarů, které mají dlouhou v tradici v naší zemi. V teoretické části jsou dále popsány jednotlivé úkony při výrobě piva. Analytická část je věnována podrobně pivnímu sommelierství, které zahrnuje nejen degustaci, ale také typologii jednotlivých druhů piv a jejich skloubení a párování s pokrmy. The master´s dissertation is concerned about the complete history of the Czech brewing and particular breweries which has a long tradition according to our country.
