Study od occurence of hyperbilirubinemia in newborn babies in the year 2007

Abstract:

Ve své práci se zabývám výskytem novorozenecké žloutenky ve Fakultní nemocnici Brno, na pracovišti Reprodukční medicíny, neonatologickém oddělení – rooming in (10 RI). Toto průzkumné šetření zahrnuje celý kalendářní rok 2007. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část vysvětluje hlavní pojmy, jako např. klasifikaci novorozenců, rozdělení krevních skupin a Rh faktorů. Dále vysvětluje, co je to hyperbilirubinémie, její příčiny vzniku, příznaky, rizikové faktory, vyšetření a léčbu. Praktická část zahrnuje vlastní průzkumné šetření a je rozdělena do třinácti podkapitol. Dvanáct podkapitol značí 12 měsíců v roce a 13. podkapitola je shrnutí stavu za celý rok 2007. V této části je výskyt novorozenecké žloutenky zpracován podle čtyř kritérií: samotného výskytu z celkově přijatých dětí, podle krevní skupiny matky, gestačního stáří dítěte a počtu hodin strávených ve fototerapii. Výsledky jsou přehledně zpracovány pomocí grafů a tabulek

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the occurrence of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in the Fakulty hospital in Brno, in the newborn babies department – rooming in (10 RI). The study covers all the year 2007. The work is divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the main concepts, such as the classification of newborn babies, division of blood groups and Rh factors, what hyperbilirubinemia is, causes that bring it to existence, its symptoms and risk factors, its examination and treatment. The practical part includes the practical survey itself and it is divided into thirteen subchapters. Each of them covers one month in the year, while the thirteenth chapter is the summary of data collected throughout the year 2007. In this part, the occurrence of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is shown according to four criteria: first, the occurrence of hyperbilirubinemia among newborn babies out of all the checked-in children, second, the mother’s blood group, third, gestal period of the baby and fourth, the number of hours spent in phototherapy. The outcome of the work is presented synoptically in graphs and tables.
