Comparison of Company Governance in EU countries - advantages and disadvantages

Anotace:

The primary purpose of this study is to determine the main features of leading systems in the world and in the EU countries, find common and different features of these systems, advantages and disadvantages of using them and their strong and weak points. There was a brief look into the process of how they were created and how the European Union came to exist, what we consider under this organization. In the theoretical part there is a description of three main systems: The Continental, the Anglo-Saxon and the Japanese governance models. The main attention was payed to these models in a board of their existence in the world and, in a practical part, particularly in European Union. After a number of analysis, reviewing and collecting information, it was concluded, that the Company Governance in EU is effective. It combines several models, effectively co-working on the same territory. It was illustrated on statistics of using these models in European Union.
