Abstract:

V teoretické části diplomové práce je nastíněna problematika islámských rukopisných knih, jejich vymezení s místní a časovou determinací. Dále se práce zabývá základní charakteristikou islámské knihy, historickým vývojem její podoby, typů knižních vazeb, materiálů a dekorací v kontextu s knihou západního světa. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá restaurováním koránu, iluminovaného rukopisu s celousňovou knižní vazbou. Vzhledem k rozsáhlému poškození knižního bloku bylo přikročeno ke kompletnímu zásahu.

Abstract:

At the beginning the problems of Islamic book manuscripts is outlined with the geographical and time determination. This work is focused on the basic characteristics of the Islamic book, its historical development, types of the bookbinding, materials and decoration in the context of the Western book. Practical part of diploma work is concerned with conservation treatment of oriental book that is an illuminated manuscript with full leather bookbinding. Considering extensive damage of book block it was approached to a complete conservation treatment.
