Corporate culture in the international company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat organizační kulturu vybraného oddělení XYZ mezinárodní společnosti ABC, zjistit názory zaměstnanců na kulturu organizace a navrhnout doporučení vedoucí k jejímu zlepšení. Teoretická část práce v sobě zahrnuje základní pojmy vztahující se k vybrané problematice, vysvětlení podstaty, významu a síly organizační kultury. Na teoretickou část dále navazuje praktická část práce, která začíná formulací výzkumných hypotéz, po kterých následuje popis metodologie výzkumu. V případě této práce byla pro praktickou část použita jedna z kvantitativních výzkumných metod, a to dotazníkové šetření. Dále následovala interpretace obdržených odpovědí respondentů a na základě teoretických poznatků a analýzy výsledků z uskutečněného výzkumu proběhlo hodnocení výzkumných hypotéz a navazující identifikace slabých a silných stránek organizační kultury zkoumaného oddělení. V návaznosti na zjištěnou informaci byly předloženy návrhy na zlepšení organizační kultury uvnitř zkoumaného oddělení XYZ.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the corporate culture of the chosen department XYZ in the international company ABC, discover employees’ attitude towards the culture and to make recommendations which will lead to improvement of the corporate culture. The theoretical part includes basic concepts related to the selected topic, explained the nature, importance and the strength of corporate culture. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part, which begins with a formulation of research hypotheses, followed by a description of the research methodology. For this thesis one of the quantitative research methods was used, which is a questionnaire survey. Further it continues with the interpretation of the answers received by the respondents and on the basis of theoretical knowledge, results from the research and its analysis, there was carried out an evaluation of research hypotheses and the following identification of strengths and weaknesses of the corporate culture of XYZ department. Based on the received information, there have been made the proposals for improving the corporate culture within the XYZ department.
