Usage of Community Policing within the scope of the drug prevention for youth 15-18 age old

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou drogové prevence s využitím Community policing u mládeže ve věku 15 ? 18 let. V teoretické části práce je charakterizován pojem Community policing a úloha Community policing v České republice a rozvedení pojmu protidrogové prevence. Cílem praktické části práce bylo zjistit pomocí didaktického testu znalosti a vědomosti související s drogami a výše zmiňovanými tématy. Diplomová práce byla zaměřena na výsledky testů z prvního a druhého kola, mezi kterými proběhla přednáška policie ČR. Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno na vzorku 100 žáků ve věku 15 ? 18 let. Výsledky ukázaly, že drtivá většina žáků je s problémem drog seznámena. Na základě získaných výsledků lze závěrem říci, že s protidrogovou prevencí u dětí je nezbytné začínat v mnohem mladším věku. Pro žáky ve věku od 15 ? 18 let je protidrogová prevence samozřejmě také důležitá, ale spíše jako rozšíření již známých faktů.

Abstract:

A diploma thesis is concerned with drug prevention issue among young people at the age from 15 to 18 by utilization of Community Policing. A text is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, Community Policing conception and its role in Czech Republic are characterized. Drug prevention term is specified in detail also in this part. A goal of the practical part consists on probing of knowledge and understanding of drug and related issues by didactic test. A sample of 100 young people at the age of 15 ? 18 was tested before and after lecture of police of Czech Republic. Based on the result, that showed that majority of young people is acquainted with drug issue, it can be concluded that drug prevention education should start earlier among younger people. Drug prevention education of young people at the age of 15 ? 18 is still important however it plays only a minor role.
