The Influence of Libraries on a Child Reader

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Vliv prostedí knihoven na dtského tenáe zpracovává téma prostedí knihovny - jako místa pro dti, místa pro studium i volný as. Problematika interiér oddlení pro dti a mládež je zasazena do širších souvislostí - vztahu prostedí a uživatele, vlivu prostedí na uživatele, schopnosti dítte vnímat vnitní prostedí a posuzovat ho. Sledovány jsou otázky vnímání a reakcí dítte na okolní prostedí, psobení barev, na velikost, dispoziní ešení prostoru. Pro ucelenjší pohled na zpracovávanou problematiku jsou v základních rysech charakterizovány interiéry knihoven - oddlení pro dti - v jednotlivých asových etapách 20. století. Souasný interiér oddlení pro dti a mládež v knihovnách, jeho jednotlivé prostory pracovní i odpoinkové, dílí prvky i vybavení jsou popsány a zhodnoceny vetn doporuení ideálního ešení. Vhodnost a píjemnost interiéru je posuzována z hlediska požadavk psychologických, estetiky i funknosti, odpovídajících potebám uživatel - dtí. Pínosem zpracované problematiky je i pojmenování nedostatk a problém, kterým by mla být pi tvorb interiéru pro dti v knihovnách vnována pozornost. Výsledky výzkumu, zpracované v závru práce, pináší poznatky a názory dtí na sledovanou problematiku, dodávají textu autentinost, která informan obohacuje a zvyšuje výpovdní hodnotu zpracovaného tématu tvorby interiér pro dti a mládež v knihovnách.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis The Influence of Libraries on a Child Reader deals with the topic of library environs as a room for children, place for studies and free time activities. The problem of interiors for children and teenagers has been set into larger consequences, such as relations between environs and a user, the influence of environs on a user, the childrens ability of percepting the environs and judging it. What is mainly being focused is perception and reaction of a child as for the environs, the influence of colours, size, and overall look towards the childrens emotions. For more concrete view of mentioned problems, there have been interiors of libraries children departments in various parts of 20 century characterized. The present day children departments and their component parts, both working and relax ones, have been described and assessed from the point of view of an ideal solution recommendation. The suitability and agreeability of the interior have been judged from the point of view of psychological, ethetical and functional requirements, which correspond with the necessities of users children. The contribution of presented topic is also designating of shortcomings and problems, which should be focused during creating interiors for children in libraries. The results of the survey, described at the end of the thesis bring knowledge and opinion of the children as to followed problematics, they also add higher authenticity to the text, which informationally enriches and increases the value of the topic creating interiors for children and teenagers in libraries.
