Abstract:
In my bachelor thesis I present photographic work of Czesław Siegieda, a British photographer of Polish descent. The dissertaOon covers Segieda!s documentary projects photographed in Great Britain in 1970s and 1980s, including a detailed descripOon of his book Polska Britannica. The research was based on academic publicaOons as well as several interviews Segieda has personally given me.
Abstract:
Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je popísať a predstaviť tvorbu Czesława Siegiedu, britského fotografa poľského pôvodu. Práca zahŕňa jeho dokumentárne projekty, ktoré vznikli vo Veľkej Británii v 70. a 80. rokoch 20. storočia vrátane podrobného popisu jeho knihy Polska Britannica. Práca sa okrem teoreOckých publikácií opiera aj o niekoľko rozhovorov, ktoré do nej Czesław Siegieda poskytol.
