Criteria Evaluation in Music Education at the 1st Grade of the Primary School

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kriteriálního hodnocení v hudební výchově na 1. stupni ZŠ. Cílem práce bylo zpracovat návrh kriteriálního hodnocení pro 1. ročník 1. stupně ZŠ a popsat jednotlivé kroky při jeho tvorbě tak, aby jej bylo možné použít v praxi. V teoretické části vymezuje termín školní hodnocení a popisuje jeho specifika. Věnuje se popisu jeho jednotlivých funkcí, typů a forem, které jsou v souladu se školským zákonem používány v současném školství. Porovnává názory různých autorů na dané téma a zároveň sjednocuje aktuální poznatky v této oblasti. Pozornost je soustředěna především na pojem kriteriální hodnocení, kde jsou vysvětleny termíny související s tímto typem hodnocení. V praktické části tato práce mapuje postoje učitelů hudební výchovy k hodnocení tohoto předmětu formou sondy. V další části popisuje jednotlivé fáze zpracování kriteriálního hodnocení pro předmět hudební výchova pro 1. ročník 1. stupně ZŠ. V závěru jsou prezentovány výsledky a názory autorky.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is criteria-based evaluation in Musical Education in elementary schools (children aged 6-11). The aim of the thesis was to prepare a proposition of a criteria-based evaluation system for the first year of elementary schools and to describe individual steps employed during the system's inception in such a way that the system could be used in real life. The theoretical part defines the term "school evaluation" and describes its specifics. It elaborates on the various functions, types and forms of evaluations currently used in the Czech educational environment in line with the law governing children's education. This part of the thesis also devotes some time to comparing the views of various authors writing on the topic and consolidates the current field of knowledge on the subject. Most of all, the theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on the term "criteria-based evaluation" and explains other vocabulary relating to this evaluation type. The practical part of the thesis takes the form of a probe and maps various approaches and attitudes of Musical Education teachers to the evaluation of this subject. The next section describes individual steps in the process leading to the criterion-based evaluation system for Musical Education for the first year of elementary schools. The conclusion presents the outcomes of the thesis and the opinions of its author.
