The Use of Inertial Sensors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá podrobným popisem zadaných inerciálních senzorů a jejich reálným použitím pro výpočet natočení a přibližné změny polohy. V první části je vypracována literární rešerše o inerciální navigaci. Dále je podrobně rozebrána problematika jednotlivých senzorů - akcelerometru, magnetometru a gyroskopu, doplněná výstižnými obrázky. Poté je uveden hardware projektu a zdrojový kód programu, psaný v jazyku Wiring, pro zařízení Arduino, které bude se senzory komunikovat. V poslední části se nachází již samotné zpracování výsledků ze senzorů a výpočet natočení a přibližné změny polohy.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is about describing inertial sensors and their use for calculating rotation and position change. In the first part there is a literature search about inertial navigation. In the next part there is a description of magnetometer, accelerometer and gyroscope, with accurately pictures. Then there is a hardware of project and source code of program, written in Wiring, which communicate between sensors and Arduino. In the last part there are results of measurement and calculating of rotation and position change.
