Distributional clustering of protein sequence segments
Abstract:
Výsledky této práce mohou zlepšit naši schopnost porovnat proteiny efektivněji a biologicky smysluplným způsobem a tím zlepšit budoucí bioinformatické …moreAbstract:
The main idea of this work is to apply unsupervised learning methods from computational linguistics to biological data. The purpose is to find clusters in protein sequences, which do not rely on chemical properties of amino acids, but rather on their quasi-linguistic relationships. The results of this work may help improve our ability to align proteins in a more efficient and biologically meaningful …more
