Financial and Strategic Analysis of the Company Bershka Česká republika s. r. o.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vypracování finanční a strategické analýzy společnosti Bershka Česká republika s. r. o. mezi lety 2014 až 2019. Hlavním cílem práce je zanalyzování finančního zdraví podniku pomocí finančních ukazatelů a zhodnocení perspektivy firmy v rámci strategické analýzy. Práce se člení na část metodickou a praktickou. Metodická část obsahuje popis použitých metod, zdrojů a ukazatelů. Následuje vysvětlení bankrotních a bonitních modelů. Ve strategické analýze je popsána analýza makrookolí, mikrookolí a vnitřních zdrojů podniku. V praktické části jsou jednotlivé kroky aplikovány na vybraný podnik a je provedena komparace s konkurenčními podniky. V závěru práce je vypracována SWOT analýza, která představuje celkové srovnání a zhodnocení dosažených výsledků.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the elaboration of a financial and strategic analysis of the company Bershka Česká republika s. r. o. between 2014 and 2019. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze the financial state of the company using financial indicators and evaluate the company's perspective within the strategic analysis. The work consists of a methodical and a practical part. The methodical part introduces a description of the methods, sources and indicators used. This is followed by an explanation of bankruptcy and creditworthiness models. The strategic analysis describes the analysis of macro-environments, micro-environments and internal resources of the company. These specific steps are then applied to the selected company in the practical part of the thesis and also a comparison with competition is made. At the end of the work there is a SWOT analysis, which represents an overall comparison and evaluation of the results.
